1. Micro tomography Device The experiments were carried out at the high energy beamline ID15A at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, a third generation storage ring. , 2005). In fact, the work presented in this paper is one of the first applications of fast micro tomography at ID15A. The setup is schematically shown in Figure 1a. The X-ray white radiation was generated by an 11 poles wiggler, in order to get a high photon flux. The X-ray energy used for this study ranged from 50 to 70 keV, and the radiation was filtered using a stack of polymer pieces, in order to avoid beam hardening artifacts.
